I’m fascinated by the stories people carry, especially the ones they don’t speak out loud.
I love a good mystery, but what intrigues me most isn’t simply discovering what happened. It’s understanding why. People are wonderfully complicated, and behind even the most ordinary lives are experiences, relationships, secrets, and emotions that shape who we become.
That fascination is at the heart of my Eve Tigernacht mystery series, set in the fictional Vermont town of Eldersburg. I wanted to create a place where mystery and humor could coexist, where relationships matter as much as clues, and where the people are every bit as interesting as the secrets they keep.
Away from writing, my life is filled with family, books, animals, and creative projects. I enjoy discovering interesting places, exploring history, and finding the humor in life’s unexpected turns. And believe me, life provides plenty of those!
I’ve always believed that even difficult experiences can become meaningful stories, and that laughter sometimes appears when we least expect it. Your everyday life is a story—your story. I choose to view mine through a dramatic lens. It’s self-entertainment at its best. Deep inside of me is a desire to share life’s little amusements with others. Writing allows me to do that.
