Good food, hot coffee, and a familiar face.
Every small town needs a place where people gather, and in Eldersburg, that place is Dottie’s Diner.
Whether you are stopping in for breakfast, catching up on the latest town happenings, or simply looking for a friendly face, there’s always a place for you at Dottie’s.
Perhaps you have been driving on Highway 7 for hours and need a place to stop. The sign for Dottie’s Diner inviting you to take Exit 5B has been a beacon of relief for many a weary traveler.
Here the town’s motto is lived out in every cup of coffee served, every smile given, and every offer of help accepted. You may enter Dottie’s as a stranger but you will leave as a friend!
Meet Dottie Greene

Dottie is the heart of the diner—and possibly the town. With her soft gray curls, generous spirit, and an occasional “Oh, my stars!”, she’s become something of a grandmother to half of the town.
She’s been looking after the people of Eldersburg for years, and most wouldn’t know what to do without her.
Tobi Everette

Tobi has been working at the diner since she was fifteen. Now, in her twenties, she’s Dottie’s right hand and far more than just an employee.
She’s spent much of her life watching the people of Eldersburg come and go, and she knows that a small town can sometimes feel like a very small world.
Emelia Vargas

Emelia is another of the familiar faces you’ll encounter at Dottie’s. A relative newcomer, she is a waitress with a family and responsibilities of her own beyond the diner. She’s part of the everyday rhythm that keeps the place running.
Together, Dottie, Tobi, and Emelia help make the diner more than somewhere to eat.
Pull up a chair. There’s always room for one more.
