“Serving all people with respect, fairness and sensitivity.”
The Spruce County Sheriff’s Office is home to a dedicated group of men and women who take their responsibility for the citizens of Eldersburg as a sacred duty. However, they fulfill that responsibility each in their own unique way.

Sheriff Ethan Daniels

Sheriff Ethan Daniels walks a straight line. A kind and compassionate man, Sheriff Daniels also commands the respect of his employees and the community. He’s the man you’ll want to call when trouble comes to town.
The Deputies
Deputy Joshua Turner is experienced, athletic, observant and a steady presence. He brings a calm confidence to any situation. Sheriff Daniels relies on him and everyone can see he’s ready for a promotion.
Deputy Samantha Hollis is young but ambitious, enthusiastic, and occasionally under the delusion that she’s the most impressive deputy in Vermont. Sheriff Daniels knows she’ll make a terrific deputy if she can stay out of her own way.

The Officers

Officer Terrence Dooley has been an officer for nearly two decades, he’s seen it all and he’s not impressed. Irish and prone to colorful outbursts he has to censor himself to adhere to Sheriff Daniels’ no swearing rule. Happy to serve his community in the role of mere Officer he has been instrumental in training up many newbies.
Officer Waran Kestari is the current newbie. As an Ashanek Waran is eager to serve and protect his community. They make an unusual but effective team.
The Dispatchers
Senior Dispatcher Bea Turner is a force to be reckoned with. She holds absolute sway over the Sheriff’s Office. She knows everything that goes on in Eldersburg. She approaches life with her own flair. But don’t let her fool you, Bea is all heart.
Junior Dispatcher Ripley Robinson is Bea’s niece and protégé. Ripley is learning from her aunt but remaining true to her more serious approach to all things. She’s learning from the best and will be ready to take over when the time comes.

Probationary Deputy

Probationary Deputy Suri Whitehart, affectionately known as “Probie Whitehart”, has recently graduated from the Academy and is still finding her way around. She worries if she has chosen the right path for herself. Only time and experience will tell.
