For about thirty years I have had the privilege to write and direct the Christmas skit for our church. The last six years, we have performed an outdoor Living Nativity Walk-Through.
We have five scenes that take you through the story of Jesus’ birth. Each year we tell the story from a different perspective, often following a unique theme. Humor is always included!
We are blessed with a truly wonderful group of church members who give of their time and talents each year. This is our gift to Frederick County, MD and the surrounding communities. Live animals join the cast each night, adding to the atmosphere of the Bethlehem of the past. Carefully thought-out and well-constructed sets help bring the events of long ago to life.
As an added bonus…I will be there greeting each visitor personally at the sign-in table. Seriously, don’t come out just to meet me. This is a night that the whole family can enjoy. Each family will receive a gift bag at the end of the walk through, and hot chocolate is always on offer to warm you on your way.
